John Turton
John signed for Weedon from Heyford in about 1995.
He played an important part in gaining promotion from Division 1 to the Premiership, and finished to scorer in the top flight 3 years later. Currently the top scorer in the clubs history and still playing for the vets side. Best moment – Keeping a clean sheet in the heart of defence along side Jon Coe in the Tour of Amsterdam! (also bagging the winner for the vets team in the 1-0 cup final win last season).
